Men about town.

Oh, how I love Tommy Ton photography. Ton was lucky enough to capture the style of those lucky enough to make a visit to Milan, just in time for Menswear Fashion Week. While some of us may not be so lucky, I have done my best to give you a peek into what you’ll be wearing S/S 2011.

Alexander McQueen
Take a leaf out of McQueen’ jumble stylebook. - A collection with countless variations to choose from. Jackets so tightly fitted they could be corsets to loose and old mash-ups that could be considered vintage or avant-garde.

Burberry Prorsum
True to form Christopher Bailey sent out the traditional trench with country gent wellies, but I believe only to surprise you into the ‘Rocker’ look that shortly followed down the runway. Leather with studs, motorcycle vests with gladiator style jackets is enough to get anyone hot and bothered.

Corneliani
For the office and man on the go I suggest you take a look at Corneliani. Styles from ‘slim-cut to triple-pleat; from single-breasted and one-button to double-breasted; from linen to suede; from putty gray to a shock of red.’ Note: Best worn with a pair of espadrilles.

Prada
Say hello to the future. Miuccia Prada has challenged our way of dressing with longer shapes to elongate the body for a ‘future-forward’ look. Softer hues is a step in the right direction in her attempt to move away from the retro inspired trends of the past – but all is not forgotten as Denim makes an appearance with cuts inspired from it’s Italian roots.
