Tuesday

Movie day.

Look at the weather, today is clearly a movie day. Follow these quick steps to the ulitmate cotch.

1- Make a cuppa.
2- Make a toastie.
3- Gather tea, toastie and laptop.
4- Press play and cotch.

Watch one of these....

GREY GARDENS (1975 / 2009)

You must watch both. The original and the re-make. Drew Barrymore is AMAZING in the remake. But the original has way more woodland creatures.

ANNIE HALL (1977)

I got into Woody Allen for a while and try to watch a whole load of his movies. This one is sick. Diane Keaton's androgenous look is second to none.

BLOW UP (1966)

This was the first "fashion film" I watched from the list that was given to us all at uni. Fashion photographer / murder mystery, what more can you ask for? David Hemmings looks hot in his skinny white jeans and polo neck combo.

ZOOLANDER (2001)

A good fashion funny and a cameo from Billy Zane. Brilliant.

LARGERFELD CONFIDENTIAL and THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE (2007 / 2009)

I lumped these both together as the both fall into the documentry genre. Essential watching.

BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967)

"The strangest damned gang you ever heard of. They're young. They're in love. They rob banks." - Nuff said.

CLUELESS (1995)

Now that the 90's is officially vintage why not? Everyone surely has this on VHS? Some of the best one liners.

BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S / FUNNY FACE / HOW TO STEAL A MILLION (1961/ 1957/ 1966)

I had to throw an Audrey one in here somewhere. All of the above are essential watching.

FACTORY GIRL (2006)

This is what made my chop all my hair off back in the day. I don't particularly like Sienna, but I really liked her hair in this.

THE EYES OF LAURA MARS (1978)

Featuring Faye Dunaway and a very young Tommy Lee Jones. Don't watch this one on your own. It's a bit stabby.
