It might be completely obvious, but I’m loving studs at the moment. Not in a gross Camden “I only wash every other Wednesday” kind of way but in a far more glossy and fabulous way. Think Wang.
During London Fashion Week I dropped into Sketch to view the Temperly SS10 collection. The headwear was AMAZING. I unfortunately dropped my iPhone down the loo and have lost the photos I took.
Nevertheless, I was inspired, and that prompted me to buy a whole load of gold studs and get making.
I have never been a fan of customising, reminds me of the dodgy outfits from the 6th form common room, but I feel customising, and me, have come a long way since using the cheese grater to create the “distressed look”.
It appears All Saints still use the ol’ cheese grater method.
