I freelanced for Harpers Bazaar on this insane collaboration between themselves, Duran Duran and Swarovski Elements.

This has to be the biggest and most intense productions I have ever worked on.

Shot in the Summer over 3 days at The Savoy, London, the team, headed by Vanessa Coyle made Fashion History.

Adidas had a little press preview for their AW collection which dropped last Saturday.

I brought these fly bitches with me.

aztec and prints for AW and some colour block t shirts that remind me of a pantone chart.

But it was a pair of blue suede shoes that stole my heart, can't resist a classic gum sole.

This jacket was getting a lot of love, but the best thing about the collection was the brilliant finish and stitching on each item.

So when James Small collaborated with Vauxhall for a fashion film directed by Kostantinos Menelaus (known mostly for his work with Diane Pernet's - A Shaded View of Fashion) and starring Jaime Winstone you knew it was going to be a goodun.

Remember those Gio-Goi duffle bags from the nineties? I had a Take That one from Seven Sisters Market that I thought was superbadman.

I never wore it at the same time as my Take That t shirt thought, even as a younger I knew that was a wrong move. However, If I could of predicted the middle age Man Band comeback we are experiencing now from Take That I probably would have allowed both.

Nevertheless, the duffle bag was a staple item of the nineties and was soon replaced with the not as adequate Nike drawstring bag. My dad bought me an Ellesse one instead of the Nike one I wanted because it was made from a more durable fabric. I was so pissed then, but now I look back it was kind of a power move.

"Cheap is expensive"

So the dufflebag is making a comeback and who better to bring it back than my pal John and his buff girlfriend Charlotte. Obviously, these bags have had an upgrade since the nineties and have come out looking and chic and made with UK sourced fabric. I guess you can probably even get one to match the colours on your fixed gear.

John and Charlotte made a couple of bags for premium menswear label Utile Clothing, but are now taking orders via email so drop them a line on

Nice to get some good news whilst tucking into your morning bacon bap right?

The internationally respected Dianne Pernet of A Shaded View Of Fashion is holding the 4th annual ASVOF Film Festival this year this is the fashion industry’s one and only film

festival.

The fashion film I shot with Michael Daks at his wonderful beach front home, entitled Girl Friday, starring none other that super hottie Lucie Nontha, has been shortlisted for the festival and faces a panel of super judges in September.

ASVOFF takes place on 7,8 and 9^th October at

Centre Pompidou, Paris.

Fred Butler X Lazy Oaf

I’m always intrigued as to what’s going on in the colourful world of Fred Butler. So when I heard that she was teaming up with super cute brand Lazy Oaf, to say I was excited was an understatment. 

I interned with Fred in the studio last summer and helped her make pieces that were commissioned from different publications and artists, Fred has immaculate attention to detail and each piece is handmade. Her collections normally retail at Kabiri, so her collection with Lazy Oaf was great for us fan’s of Fred who want a piece of her colourful world, for an affordable price.  

These are my favourite pieces from the collaboration and they retail for a shockingly purse friendly £38 - 45

I popped down to the launch of the collection last week at the Lazy Oaf store, and walked into a room full of girls ooohing and ahhing at the collection whilst eating cake and generally having a good time.

The cakes were made by artisan cupcake maker Pomp De Franc

Baker Katie Franklin, founder of Pomp De France works with designers to make cakes that reflect their collections. Probably the yummiest cupcakes i've had in a long time.

Going to AW 11 Press days and looking at warm Wintery clothes is always strange as the sun is just starting to come out and we are starting to wear skimpier and skimpier clothes.

But these babies caught my eye earlier this week. Won Hundred, stocked at Urban Outfitter, have the knack when it comes to chunky platform shoes. Check last seasons addition to the chunky shoe clan.

Alongside the booties, the rest of the AW collection isn't half bad either. In particular one tie dye leggings and shirt combo that has got me excited for colder times.
